Mika and Brandan had the most beautiful wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. They brought so much intentionality and meaning to their wedding. It’s not often that two people are so deeply in love with each other, and also so deeply intentional about caring for their friends and family on their wedding day.
Mika and Brandan are college sweethearts. They met going to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, and chose to have their wedding in the same city that they met. They fell in love with Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm right when they saw it. Who wouldn’t? It has sweeping ocean views, gorgeous bluffs, and the most beautiful, open greenhouse. They invited their close friends and family to be a part of a ceremony on the bluffs. After the ceremony, they joined additional friends for the reception at the greenhouse.
The couple went for a simple design in order to let the venue truly speak for itself. Their wedding planner, Leah Danae, did a beautiful job of designing the space. The black flatware stood out against the neutral plates and floral arrangements. Disco balls hung from the ceiling to add a fun, playful element to the dance floor. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a large, colorful cheese spread amongst the greenery and rich plant life of the greenhouse. They then moved into the large, open greenhouse for dinner and dancing. This Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm wedding was filled with laughter, warm hugs, and so many beautiful emotions.
We can’t thank Mika and Brandan enough for allowing us to capture their sweet love and the celebration of something so beautiful! They reminded us why we love weddings so much. We are so thankful that these two have become more than clients – they are now friends! Thank you for trusting us, Mika and Brandan 🙂
