This Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding was full of romance and elegance. Brooke texted me only a couple weeks before asking if I was free on their elopement date. After we chatted on the phone for a few minutes, it was a done deal. I was going to capture them committing their lives to each other at one of the most beautiful structures in Santa Barbara.
Is there a better courthouse for a wedding than the one we have here in Santa Barbara? Please tell me if there is, because I certainly don’t know of one. Brooke and Brett had their ceremony on the beautiful green lawn overlooking the Santa Barbara courthouse sunken gardens. After they said their vows and exchanged rings, they sealed their marriage with a passionate kiss.
The ceremony was short, tender, and filled with joy. Once the ceremony was over, we wandered around the courthouse capturing intimate, sweet moments between the two of them.
I couldn’t believe how perfect the timing of their elopement was. Gorgeous rays of sunlight were bouncing through the courthouse windows and elegant arches, softly hitting the newly married couple the whole evening. I was jumping up and down with excitement inside as I was taking images of these two because of how beautiful the whole thing was.
We finally found our way inside the courthouse where there’s hallways full of unique tile, murals, and light. Brooke and Brett once again effortlessly made the scene even more beautiful.
If you’re hoping to have a small, private elopement or wedding in Santa Barbara, the courthouse is the perfect place. Here’s a few links that will help you get started with the process, and contact me here for elopement or wedding photos.
