This wedding was a beautiful blend of two cultures, David being Jewish and Barbara being Mexican. The couple decided to incorporate parts of a traditional Jewish ceremony, and there was even a mariachi band that marched in and serenaded everyone during the reception! It was beautiful to see traditions from both cultures present during this Zaca Mesa Winery wedding!
Before the main ceremony, the couple gathered together with their closest friends and family for the Jewish tradition of sipping whiskey and showering the couple with encouragement. The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful vineyard right afterward.
Following the ceremony, guests sipped Zaca Mesa wine and ate delicious K’Syrah hors d’oeuvres while the bridal party took more photos.
Barbara looked way too beautiful to not have 5 minutes dedicated to photos of JUST her. She was the most stunning bride!
Barbara and David entered into the reception with huge smiles on their faces! Family and friends were there to greet them with loud cheers and sweet embraces.
Guests were busy eating dinner, talking, and sipping wine when a mariachi band surprised everyone by marching into the reception area! They blew everyone away with their beautiful and fun music.
After the mariachi band played a few songs, Barbara and David escaped to the vineyard just in time for sunset.
If you’ve never witnessed the horah, it is SO MUCH FUN. Everyone running in circles, holding hands, and lifting up the bride and groom on chairs. The dance floor was full of energy and laughter, and it was a night to remember!
